At the initiative of Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Georgian government issued Decree No. 44, January 22, 2019, according to which war veterans and veterans of defense forces can buy Georgian Railway tickets for 50% discount.

Benefits apply to: participants in the struggle for the territorial integrity of Georgia, veterans of the Second World War and Afghanistan war participants.
