On May, 31 2019, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between JSC Georgian Railway and JSC Ukrainian Railway. The purpose of this MOU is to provide a preliminary framework for the development and implementation of a direct feeder service on the Black Sea.

The cooperation between JSC Ukrainian Railway and JSC Georgian Railway will encourage increase of cargo flow and development of the Middle Corridor.
