For the first time in Georgia, machine operator vocational training program was implemented at the Railway transport college

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili, visited Railway Transport College and got acquainted with the new program, college activities and renovated teaching laboratories.

For the first time in Georgia, machine operator vocational training program was implemented at the college. For one of the most demanding professions in the labor market, a relevant training laboratory was set up and equipped with the contribution of the Ministry and Georgian Railway. The project cost is 256 000 GEL.

“Georgian Railway” was actively involved in training qualified technical personnel. In addition to contributing financially to the development of the vocational program workshop, the company also participated in the development of the educational program and the effective implementation of the practical component.

In the near future, several new professional programs and short-term certificate courses will be  available to both railway workers and anyone interested in the initiative of the Georgian Railway.
