Under the leadership of Director General David Peradze, the “Georgian Railway” delegation attended the meeting of the International Association of “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), Association TMTM” in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The members of the Association summarized the results of 2019. It was noted that in 2019 shipped by the Caspian Sea the container freight increased by 71% (10.7 thousand TEU) and this is a record level of shipping in this corridor. In addition, the feeder line service launched in April 2019 significantly increased the amount of cargo in the (Middle Corridor) and reduced container shipping time.

The new members of the Association TMTM have become the Chinese company “ Xi’an Continental Bridge International Logistics Co., Ltd and the Kazakhstan ”Actay Marine North Terminal”.

At the meeting they agreed on 2020 tariff policy.
