The Borjomi-Bakuriani Railway is a complex monument, the construction of which began in 1897 and due to hard climate conditions was launched only in 1902. It includes the railway line, the Tsemi-Tsaghveri bridge, the train, and railway stations with buildings in Borjomi, Tba, Tsemi, Tsaghveri, Libani, Sakochavi and Bakuriani.
Currently, the train runs twice per day Borjomi-Bakuriani-Borjomi. The line serves the local population as well as resort visitors, ski-lovers and tourists. Each car seats 32 and can transport 128 passengers at a time.
