The Director General of Georgian Railway Lasha Abashidze inspected the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

Lasha Abashidze arrived in Akhalkalaki and got acquainted with the available infrastructure. It should be noted that trains on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway are running in test mode.

During the visit of the Director General, a train from China arrived at the Akhalkalaki station, which will travel to Europe via Turkey.

It is worth noting that the full operation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars section will contribute to a significant increase in freight transportation.
