Prime Minister of Georgia, Vice Prime Minister, Head of the Department of Economy and Sustainable Development and Director General of Georgian Railway were on a working visit to Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the meetings, the conversation touched on the main directions of existing cooperation in the fields of transport, tourism, energy and trade.

David Peradze signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Georgian Railway and the National Railway of Kazakhstan.

The document envisages the deepening of logistics relations between the countries and the implementation of joint projects. The heads of the companies agreed that they will actively work together within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor (TMTM) in order to develop the transit potential and the transport-logistics system.
